2 Guys 4 A Day("we" or "us") is a home services business in New Jersey. This page explains what information this website collects, what we do with it, and how to reach us about it. We keep it short because our handling of your information is simple: you send us details about a job, and we use them to get back to you.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us:
- Quote and contact forms. Your name, phone number, email address, the property address if you include it, and whatever you tell us about the job.
- Launch list. Your email address and, if you add it, your name.
- Calls and texts. If you call or text us, we keep your number and the conversation the way anyone keeps a text thread.
- Server logs. Like every website, our hosting provider records basic technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested.
This site does not use advertising cookies, does not track you across other sites, and has no user accounts.
How we use it
- To reply to your request, price the job, and schedule the work.
- To contact you about that job by phone, text, or email.
- To tell you when we open, if you joined the launch list.
- To keep basic records of the work we do for you.
We do not sell your information and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. We will not add you to a marketing list you did not ask for.
Texting
When you send a form with your phone number, you agree that we may call or text you about your request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text from us and we will stop texting you.
Who handles it for us
We are a small crew and we rely on a few services to run this site. Each one receives only what it needs to do its job:
- Netlifyhosts the site. Form submissions pass through its servers, and if an email fails to send, the submission is kept in Netlify's server logs so we can recover it.
- Resend delivers the email that carries your form submission to us, and the confirmation we send to you.
- Google Analytics may be used to count visits and see which pages people read. It is not used to identify you.
How long we keep it
Form submissions stay in our email as long as we need them to respond to you and keep a record of the work. Ask us and we will delete what we have about you, unless we need to keep it for a completed job's records, tax, or legal reasons.
Your choices
Email us at hello@2guys4aday.com to see what we have about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts. You can always reach us by phone instead of using a form.
Children
This site is for adults arranging work on their homes. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and your submissions go only to us and the services listed above. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
